I still can’t get enough with short vacation I had around two weeks ago. Yup, I went to Singapore for 5 days 4 nights together with friends and sister as well. We arrived at Changi Airport around 2 p.m before we went hotel to check in for our room. Well, we stayed in NuVe Hotel which located in Bugis, not far from Bugis MRT ( approximately 300 m ). Once we arrived there, we were amazed by the vibe around the hotel. We could find some cafes and mural along the street. The hotel itself, has a very pleasant room and the receptionist was so nice yet helpful.

Day 1 : Thursday, September 29th
I can say that our first day in Singapore was quite ineffective. We just wandered around Bugis, did some shopping, and went back to hotel earlier. Actually, we purposely did that because we didn’t want to waste much energy since we will attend HHN6 on the next day.

Day 2 : Friday, September 30th
This was our main day in Singapore. Why ? Because our main purpose in Singapore was to attend Halloween Horror Night 6 in Universal Studios Singapore and this was the day! But before that, we came to Singapore’s signature area, Haji Lane, which located very close to our hotel ( around 100 m ). As I expected, Haji Lane is only a one way street with lot of stores along.  I didn’t know whether we’re lucky or not because once we arrived around 10 a.m, almost all of the stores there hasn’t opened yet, but we could take as many pictures as we want ! I can’t tell about the stores but all I know from the signage was there are lot of cafes, merchandises, boutique, and of course the colorful buildings! It seems like each stores has their own theme and color which is so captivating and I couldn’t resist myself to take so many pictures there!

From Haji Lane, we chose to go back to hotel  and have a little rest, then went straight to Sentosa island earlier because we have to exchange our HHN6 tickets to travel agency where we bought the tickets from. It was around 3 p.m when we touched down Sentosa. After exchanging the tickets, we wasted our time at Krispy Kreme cafe before I met my Korean friend who also works in Sentosa. It was our first time meeting  though ( we used to talk in chat only ) and I think he’s a decent man yet so friendly! We talked about so many things, from hobby to work life, then walked around Beach Station area ( one of area in Sentosa where USS is located ), took a proper photo at USS globe as well. I think it was a nice meeting before we experienced the fearness in Halloween Horror Nights 6! (read the full review about our experience in HHN6 here)
